The talented students of the band were able to perform at the VA! Their music and energy brought smiles, joy, and heartfelt moments to our veterans. This was a beautiful way to honor and give back to those who have served. Amazing job, everyone—your performance truly made a difference!

Mr. Armstrong's First Responders students embarked on an exciting trip to the North Little Rock Fire Department! They learned about fire safety and got a behind-the-scenes look at the heroes who keep our community safe.
Thank you to the NLR Fire Department for welcoming our students and showing them what it takes to be real-life heroes!

Congratulations to Sam, Emma, Nidiana, Morgan, Jocelyn, Najaah, Neema, Kyle, and Landon for earning the President's Volunteer Service Award! These students went above and beyond the 75 state-required volunteer hours at organizations such as Baptist Health Hospital, Arkansas Food Bank, CALS, the Museum of Discovery, and Camp Aldersgate. These 9 students alone volunteered over 1700 hours in the community; we are proud of them for giving their time and being involved and compassionate citizens.

Congratulations to Jayden, Yusuf, David, William, Jacory, Jil, Christian, and Gabrielle for scoring 30 or above on the ACT!

Gabby, a senior, had the incredible opportunity to step into the heart of democracy as a Senate Page for the day. She experienced firsthand the fast-paced world of government in action and was there to assist Senators if needed. Being a page gave Gabby a real-world look into the legislative process. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see how she continues to make an impact!

Students were able to learn about the branches of government and how bills become laws. Students were divided into the "House of Representatives" and the "Senate" in order to cooperatively create a "classroom law."

LISA Academy North High School has made history by becoming the first school in Arkansas to earn the Character School State Designation, a recognition of its commitment to fostering leadership, integrity, and student empowerment. This national organization recognizes LISA Academy’s dedication to character education and the holistic development of its students. LISA Academy West Middle and West High was also proud to earn an honorable mention.
