29 CARSEF Awards

LISA Academy Students Earn 29 CARSEF Awards

Congratulations to the students from LISA Academy West Elementary, West Middle, West High, North High, and Online Schools for earning awards at the 2025 Central Arkansas Regional Science and Engineering Fair! Seven students from West Middle were also nominated for the Thermo Fisher Junior Innovators Award and one student from LISA Online School was awarded the NASA Earth System Science Award, and one student from LISA West Middle was awarded the American Statistical Association Award.

Congratulations to LISA Academy Springdale, LISA Academy Rogers-Bentonville Middle School, LISA Academy North Middle School, LISA Academy North High School, and LISA Academy West High School for receiving recognition from the Office of Education Policy for demonstrated growth by students on the ATLAS test on regional and statewide levels.

LISA Academy Public Charter Schools Joins Verizon Innovative Learning, Bringing Internet Access, Devices and Technology Coaches to Local Middle and High Schools

LISA Academy Public Charter Schools (West High, West Middle, and North Middle-High) joins the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program, Verizon’s award-winning education initiative which addresses barriers to digital inclusion. In partnership with Digital Promise, the Verizon Innovative Learning Schools program works side-by-side with schools and districts to provide free technology devices, access to the internet and innovative STEM learning programs for today, so students can excel with technology tomorrow. Being part of Verizon Innovative Learning Schools will keep students connected, helping to facilitate learning wherever it’s taking place.

Coach Chris Horton has been the driving force behind the LISA North Middle High School boys’ basketball program, leading the Jaguars to a 3A-6 conference championship. His leadership, passion for the game, and commitment to player development have elevated the program to new levels of success.
